Jason Houck Honored in dBusiness Magazine’s “30 in Their Thirties”

HCS Chief Information Officer Named One of Detroit’s Brightest Young Leaders

DETROIT, MI – Hepta Control Systems is pleased to formally announce that Chief Information Officer Jason Houck has been named one of DBusiness magazine’s 2015 “30 in Their Thirties” honorees. Houck is one of just two 30-year-0lds to make this year’s list.

Every year since 2011, DBusiness magazine has recognized “business leaders in metro Detroit who are moving their respective companies, industries and communities forward.” Houck certainly meets that description, as he continues to play a vital role as Hepta Control Systems continues to bring world-class intelligent building technologies to Detroit.

Houck’s leadership was a major factor in the success of HCS’ work on the Quicken Loans Technology Center project, which earned the 2015 IBcon Digie Award for Most Intelligent Specialty Building, edging out competitors from around the world. Work on the Technology Center project led Houck to greatly expand HCS’ software development department to create innovative new applications for future projects.

“It’s an unbelievable honor to be recognized by DBusiness among so many great young leaders,” Houck said. “There are so many amazing things happening in Detroit right now, and to have the opportunity to be a part it has been an extremely rewarding experience. I’m very thankful that DBusiness continues to bring attention to some of the wonderful people, projects and organizations at the forefront of this revitalization.

“Every member of our growing team at HCS is responsible for contributing towards this honor, and I’m proud to work alongside people who contribute to a culture of innovation with every new day,” Houck added.

Houck earned similar praise earlier this year, when he was one of the inaugural recipients of the “Young Gun Award” at the 2014 ControlTrends Awards in January.

Features on all of DBusiness’ 2015 “30 in Their 30s” honorees can be seen in the September/October issue, available at several Metro Detroit newsstands and retail stores, or online here.
